Congrats, Dayton! Is it accessible to someone who knows nothing of 4400?

(ps- guess what I did friday? picked up ALL the other books from "a time to..." series... damn you. :) )

I think it's accessible to those who've not seen the series. Readers will actually follow the POV character from the excerpt as she's "returned" with the rest of the 4400, and as she's processed and learns (as much as anyone else at that point, anyway) what happened to her, etc.

Plus, there's always Wiki: The 4400. Heck, it even has its own Wiki. :)

It contains some spoilers, but only for events which would've happened before this story takes place. There's a bit of foreshadowing of events which not yet have taken place, but nothing too overt.
