So, here's the deal: friend, fellow geek, Trekkie, actor, and all around lovely Mary Czerwinski, aka "the Televixen," has established a grass-roots effort to attract the attention of The Powers That Be in charge of making the next Star Trek movie. It's her hope that they might take notice of her and even cast her in the new film as Dr. Elizabeth Dehner, a guest character from the original Star Trek series who appeared only in the show's second pilot, "Where No Man Has Gone Before." While the campaign is largely in fun, I don't think anybody--particularly Mary--would be disappointed if such a cool thing came to pass.

To this end, a number of Mary's friends have offered a variety of testimonials in support of her efforts. Most of these contributions have taken the form of a video PSA sort of thing (for example, check out David Mack's rather hysterical turn here). Since I don't possess any of the equipment or expertise to pull one of these off on my own, I made an attempt at creating a "poster" which I hope conveys the proper message, what with this being the weekend before Halloween and all:

I guess I hit the right notes, as both Mary and her partner in crime and other assorted mischief, John Champion both dug it.
So...you know...Make Mary Dehner...or else!
