Why I love my mother.....
Why? Because she's able to help me maintain a healthy perspective so far as my love of Star Trek is concerned. Case in point, this dialogue, taken from an e-Mail exchange:

Mom: By the way - did you order the "Trek House?"
Me: You mean that wall mural? I haven't ordered it. I think Michi would kill me if I did :)
Mom: No, the doll house for $60 on Amazon.
Me: Oh, that! "Doll house?" No way! That's an ACTION PLAYSET! And you bought me one of those in 1975 (or so). It was destroyed years ago, of course, but I think it's neat they've brought 'em back. Maybe I can get one for Addy. Yeah, for Addy. That's my story and I'm sticking to it....
